Cleaning the Surface of the Instrument
Clean the outside of the instrument with a dry cloth (preferably made of
microfiber). For removing stains or fingerprints on the surface of the
instrument (panels, for example), slightly dampen the cloth with
distilled water.
NOTICE
Prevent any liquids from entering the inside of the
instrument.

Cleaning Agents
We recommend having the following cleaning agents available:
•
A solvent like isopropanol (in accordance with your local safety
practices).
•
Several liters of distilled water.
•
Aqua regia
•
Nitric acid
Checking Warning Labels
The safety warnings on the machine must always be complete, clearly
visible and legible.
In addition to the safety instructions that can be found throughout this
manual, various warning labels on the instrument inform the user about
possible hazards. To protect all personnel working with the
instrument/coming near the instrument it is advised to regularly make
sure all warning labels on the instrument are still present. See
for an overview of the warning
labels on the instrument.
Also check the warning labels on the fore vacuum pump and the
peripherals.
