6. Lift the EGC out

of the holder (the
inlet and outlet
tubing is
attached). Turn
the EGC upside
down and set it
next to the holder
(see Figure 45).

7. Disconnect the

EGC IN

and

EGC OUT

lines from the EGC inlet and

outlet ports.

8. Follow the instructions in the EGC manual (Document No. 031908),

on the Thermo Scientific Reference Library DVD (P/N 053891), to
prepare an expended EGC for disposal or to store a partially used
EGC for later use.

9. Turn the new EGC upside down and set it next to the holder.

10. Remove the plugs

from the EGC

INLET

and

OUTLET

fittings

(see Figure 46).
