Accela 600 and 1250 Pump Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

Accela Pump Installation Checklist

When the Accela pump (600 or 1250) arrives at your facility, a Thermo Fisher Scientific field
service engineer performs the initial installation. When you move the pump from one
location to another, follow the steps in this installation checklist to ensure that the Accela
pump operates properly as part of an Accela LC system.

This installation checklist summarizes the steps that must be completed to properly install the
Accela pump:



Unpack and inspect your instrument (see

“Shipment Inspection”



Read the

“Safety Information”



Position the Accela pump appropriately on the benchtop (see

“Benchtop Setup”

).



Make the back panel connections (see system installation procedures or

the Pump to the Data System Computer”

“Connecting the Accela

System Interconnect Cables”



Connect the solvent lines (see

“Solvent Line Connections”



Connect the power cord and turn on the instrument (see

“Connecting the Power

).



Add the Accela pump to the instrument configuration for the data system (see
