The different options are as follows:
6.1 PRINT BY DATE OPTION
As described earlier, the TouchPrint Printer has the possibility to store
temporarily the data received from the connected Datalogger for a short
period of time (from 2 months up to 1 year). The so called ‘Temporary
Data Park (TDP)’ allows to organize the files by date and time in order to
select a specific time period for impression.
When the Temporary Data Park option is enabled, the TouchPrint Printer
interpret the received data and park these data in the local storage space
in a specific format.
At the very first power-up with the Temporary Data Park feature enabled,
the TouchPrint Printer will start creating the local stored data, getting
from the Datalogger the “last trip” data. The data available in
the Temporary Data Park will start with this first data transmission, older
data will not be available in the Temporary Data Park.
Older data previous to last trip at the moment of TouchPrint installation
can be obtained by switching to TDP disabled mode and downloading
previous trips.
6.2 DATA TRANSFER INTERVAL
This menu enables to program the data transfer interval, meaning how
often the Printer will request data from the Datalogger. The options are
from every 10 minutes to every 1 hour and we recommend to keep this
interval the more regularly.
6.3 CONTRAST
Similarly to brightness, this function allows to adjust the display
background for easier reading.
