2.0 INTRODUCTION AND DESCRIPTION

2.01 Description

The Thermal Arc™ Model 260S is a single or three-phase DC arc welding
power sources with Constant Current (CC) output characteristics.

The 260S unit is designed for use with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).

NOTE

Volt-Ampere curves show the maximum Voltage and Amperage output

capabilities of the welding power source . Curves of other settings will fall
between the curves shown.
The ARC CONTROL is set “ 30% (45A) “ in factory.
But, Output Current is less than 270 amperes (Output Current Limit).
