When finished using the repeller, slide [turn] the ‘ON/OFF’ switch to the ‘OFF’ position, and allow the repeller to cool completely.
Repeller is now ready for storage.
Use Restrictions:
Only for outdoor use as an insect repellent. Do not use indoors, in tents or in any enclosed area. Do not insert anything other than
Thermacell® mats into the repeller. Cover or remove all exposed food. Do not leave repeller unattended or use in windy conditions.
Do not expose repeller(s) or mats to rain. [Do not attach repeller to your body or clothing.] [When using repeller stand,] Place repeller
on a flat, stable surface with the grill facing upward. [Press the on-off button to the ‘OFF’ [out] position when not in use.] Do not
touch the grill; it will be hot after a couple of minutes. Clean with a damp cloth only when the repeller is cool and inactive. Butane
cartridges other than Thermacell® cartridges will not work in this repeller. [Only Thermacell® mats and cartridges will work in this
repeller.]
Troubleshooting {this section will appear, as appropriate, at the end of directions for use for the individual device}

If you do not see an orange glow [through view window]

Repeat directions “To Turn ON”

If there is still no orange glow visible [in the view window], make sure the [fuel][source][canister][cartridge] is completely
screwed into place. Repeat “Turn On” directions. Confirm the orange glow is visible.

Check the amount of fuel in the cartridge. If cartridge is empty or near empty, remove cartridge and replace with a new
[Thermacell®][cartridge]. [Then] Repeat “Turn On” directions. Confirm the orange glow is visible.
5.
[Canister] [cartridge] [may not work] [is less effective] at elevations over 1500 m.
6.
The bottom [rubber] [plastic] [cover] [cap] [plug] [lid][door] must be in place and properly closed to allow the fuel to flow.

[Mosquitoes still [around] [present] [Not sure [it’s][product is] working] [Is the product working]

Place product upwind for maximum repellency. Windy conditions can reduce [product name] [repellent] effectiveness.

Check the [repellent] mat. Mats turn from pale blue to white when repellent has been [exhausted][used up][depleted][need to
be replaced]. See directions to replace [change] [Thermacell][repellent] mat

Avoid contact with skin and clothing. Wash hands with soap and water after use. Cover exposed food.
Cartridge contains flammable butane. Do not use near sparks or open flames. Do not allow mat to come into contact with other
substances. Cartridges contain pressurized butane. Protect the butane cartridges from sunlight. Do not expose them to temperatures
above 50
°
C (120
°
F). Do not pierce, break or incinerate butane cartridges, even after use. Butane cartridges other than Thermacell®
cartridges will not work in this appliance. Seller will not be held responsible for damage, injury or poor performance caused by use of
other butane cartridges or repellent mats.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Toxic to aquatic organisms.
DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by disposal of wastes.
FIRST AID:
If swallowed: call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have a person sip a glass of water if able to
swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person.
If Inhaled: move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by
mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.
If on skin or clothing: take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15–20 minutes. Call a poison
