PRODUCT INFORMATION:
NEW! ThermaCELL® MOSQUITO AREA REPELLENT II
ThermaCELL® Mosquito Area Repellent II alleviates the annoyance from mosquitoes by repelling and killing mosquitoes and
reducing the number of bites in an area as large as an average-size deck or patio (up to 4.5 meters from the product) for up to four
hours. This product is portable and can be taken anywhere you expect annoying mosquitoes to be a problem.
RETAIN PACKAGING FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

Allow 30 minutes, depending upon the size of the area, for product to take effect [and repel mosquitoes].
•
This product works [well] [best] in outdoor areas where there is minimal air movement, such as [decks], [unenclosed
porches], [patios] [yards] [unenclosed hunting stands] and [outdoor campsites].
•
[Product may be used for camping [and hunting].]
•
Use one repeller for [21.0 square metres] [an area 4.5 x 4.5 metres] [or 4.5 metres in diameter] [4.5 metres]. [Use additional
devices to cover a larger area.]

Each [Thermacell] mat lasts a maximum of 4 hours [and each Thermacell® butane cartridge lasts a maximum of 12 hours].

Provides a maximum of 4 hours repellency per mat.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Alleviates the annoyance from mosquitoes by repelling and killing mosquitoes and reducing the number of bites in an area up to 4.5
meters from the product (as large as an average-size deck or patio) for up to four hours. Effect is
not
immediate. For best results,
allow 30 minutes for product to take effect. This product works well in outdoor areas where there is minimal air movement, such as
decks, porches, patios and yards. Use one device per each 21.0 square meters (an area 4.5 x 4.5 meters or 15’ x 15’). Use more devices
in larger areas, spacing them to ensure adequate coverage. Wind, heat or humidity may affect the performance of this product.
Appliance and mat effectiveness may be diminished if exposed to rain.

Remove one Thermacell repellent mat from wrapper
2.
Make sure the ON/OFF switch is on the OFF position. Insert the mat under the repeller’s grill. To change mats, [slide][turn]
the ON/OFF switch to OFF and allow the repeller to cool completely. Push the used mat out by inserting a fresh one.
3.
Remove the repeller [cover] [cap]. Remove the cap from the cartridge.
4.
Screw the cartridge into the opening of the repeller, turning it clockwise until it stops. Replace the repeller [cover][cap]. [If
your repeller fails to heat, it may be out of fuel. To check the fuel level, hold the repeller vertically and look through the slot on the
back of the repeller. You can see the amount of butane left in the cartridge. Replace if empty.]
5.
[Slide] [turn] the ON/OFF switch to the ON position, the butane gas will begin to flow.
6.
Wait approximately 5 to 10 seconds then depress the start button [three to five times][once][as needed] [in rapid succession].
To use the [Zone] [Protection] [Zone of Protection] indicator [light]:
1.
[Remove the battery tab prior to first use.] [To install [replace] battery.] Remove [side] [rear] battery compartment cover.
Insert [#] [supplied] [not] [included] [battery type] battery into compartment. Replace battery compartment cover]
2.
[The [Zone] [Protection] [Zone of Protection] indicator [light] will automatically illuminate once the repeller begins to [heat
the mat] [create the Zone [of Protection]] It [will] [may] take 30 minutes for the zone to completely form. Light will turn off when the
mat is no longer being heated [indicating repeller may require restarting] [or] [butane replacement] [or] [battery needs replacement].]
3.
The repeller can be used without the [Zone] [Protection] [Zone of Protection] indicator feature.
