The electrodes being too dry. Moisten them by applying a small amount of water
onto the skin facing surface and gently rubbing it into the surface.

Use fresh electrodes.

The skin not being clean and dry. Clean and dry the skin before re-applying
the electrodes

Dehydrated skin. Skin resistance changes throughout the day as a body’s
hydration level changes. Remove ActaStim-S and hydrate well by drinking water
