Solder Beads
This appendix provides solder-bead locations and configurations for the GbE XMC
Ethernet Card.
Solder beads are considered “factory-configurable” and must not be
altered by the user. If a solder bead requires reconfiguration, contact Themis Customer
Service.
B.1 Factory-Configurable Solder Beads
B.1.1 GbE XMC Ethernet Card Solder Beads
The Themis GbE XMC Ethernet Card has no solder-beads, jumper-pins, or configu-
rable settings on the PCB.
Warning: Solder beads are set by Themis at the factory. Attempting to alter a sol-
der-bead configuration could seriously damage the GbE XMC Ethernet Card. If you
encounter a problem, contact Themis Customer Support.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ALTER SOLDER-BEAD CONFIGURATIONS.
