The options are VT100, VT100 (8 bit), PC-ANSI (7 bit), PC ANSI, VT100+, VT-
UTF8, and ASCII.
B.4.8.4 Flow Control
This item allows you to select the flow control for console redirection. The options
are: None, XON/XOFF, and
CTS/RTS .
B.4.8.5 Console Connection
This item allows you to decide how console redirection is to be connected: either
Direct or Via Modem.
B.4.8.6 Continue CR after POST
This allows you to choose whether to continue with console redirection after the
POST routine.
The options are On and Off .

B.4.9.1 CPU Temperature Threshold
This option allows the user to set a CPU temperature threshold that will activate the
alarm system when the CPU temperature reaches this pre-set temperature threshold.
The options are 70

C , and 85

C.
Highlight the entry and hit <Enter> to see monitor data for the following items:
• CPU1 Temperature
• CPU1 Second Core Temperature
• CPU2 Temperature
• CPU2 Second Core Temperature
Note: The Phoenix BIOS will automatically detect the type of CPU(s) and hard-
ware monitoring chip used on the motherboard and will display the Hardware
Monitoring Screen accordingly. Your Hardware Monitoring Screen may contain
information such as that shown on this page (Alternative 1), on page B-21 (Alter-
native 2), or on page B-22 (Alternative 3), depending on the type of CPU(s) and
HW Monitoring chip you are using.
