Determine the Location
The PowerUV™ should be placed outside of the pond where
it can rest horizontally. Avoid locations that are prone to
water puddles or areas where the PowerUV™ could fall into
the pond. You can also mount the UV using the mounting
brackets (screws not included).
Attach the Fittings
ATTACH the step down fittings to the inlet and outlet of the
PowerUV™ with the compression ring. Note: The o-rings
should be between the UV housing and the step down
fitting to create a watertight seal when secure.
Connect Plumbing
CONNECT plumbing and secure with a hose clamp (not
included).
Note: Water should flow into the PowerUV™ at the inlet
closest to the powercord. Water should flow from the unit at
the outlet on the opposite end of the PowerUV™ filter.
You may also switch the position of the outlet and viewing
window for added flexibility.
Start your Pump
START your pump, then plug the power cord into a standard
120-volt GFCI protected outlet. You will see a glow in the
viewing window while unit is functioning.
TrueRock™ Medium
Boulder Cover
To camouflage and protect
the PowerUV™ from the
outside elements use a
TrueRock™ Medium Boulder
Cover(#510332).
Cut to Size
CUT step down fittings down to the largest connection
that will work with your plumbing. Step down fittings offer
options for use with 1”, 1-1/4” and 1-1/2” plumbing.
