Note:
This instruction manual is to be used for the
installation of the
8’2” & 9’2” DXT Bolt-On Plow Shoe
Option Kits
MSC18181 & MSC18184
on BOSS
8’2” & 9’2”
DXT V-Blade Plows only.
1)
Place Plow Blades on the ground, face-down.
2)
On the Driver Side blade half of the plow, align Bolt-On
Shoe Gusset (1) to the outer mounting location on the
underside of the plow blade. The bracket will align with
both backside and inside bolt holes. See Figure 2.
3)
Attach Bolt-
On Shoe Gusset (1) using two 3/8”-16 X 1-
1/2” Self-Tapping Hex Head Cap Screws (6) threaded
into the inside holes of the plow blade. See Figure 2.

4)
Repeat steps 2-3 for the inner Bolt-On Shoe Bracket
mounting location on the Driver Side blade half.
5)
Using two 1/2"-13 X 1-1/
2” Hex Head Cap Screws (4)
and two 1/2”-13 Top Lock Nuts (5), attach Bolt-On
Shoe Bracket (2) to the backside of Driver Side outer
mounting location. See Figure 3.
6)
Repeat for the inner Bolt-On Shoe Bracket mounting
location on the Driver Side blade half.

7)
Tighten all fasteners. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
8)
Repeat steps for Passenger Side plow blade half.
9)
Insert Plow Shoe (3) through the bottom of the Bolt-On
Shoe Bracket (2). See Figure 4.
10)
Place Washers on the shaft of Plow Shoe above or
below Bolt-On Shoe Bracket to adjust the ride height
of Plow Shoe (3).
11)
Insert Quick Pin through the hole in Plow Shoe (3).

Repeat for all Plow Shoes (3).
13)
After mounting the plow on the truck, check height of
Plow Shoes (3) and adjust as necessary.
