“When Input goes Active, Trigger Selected Remote(s)”
You can use this setting to have an external device like a magnetic door contact or
doorbell or thermostat trigger TextAlert.

“When Input goes Active for longer than X Seconds, Trigger Selected zone(s)”
You would use this when an external device might occasionally ‘pulse’ or run a self
diagnostic of some kind or another that could be ‘misinterpreted’ by TextAlert as the
device triggering it. By creating a period of time that the device must be active for
before TextAlert reacts, you can eliminate these ‘false trigger’ possibilities.

“When Input goes Active for longer than X Seconds, Trigger Selected Remote”
As with the zone being active for a certain period and then triggering a zone, you can
have the same feature trigger a remote control function of your choice.

“When input goes InActive, Trigger Selected Zone(s)”
This function triggers a zone when the external device is inactive. If the external device
is a refrigerator or motor that stops, you can trigger a zone to send an SMS or make a
call. Note that you could adjust outputs to monitor that zone being triggered and then
activate an output like a siren or light coming on.

As with a zone being triggered one could trigger a remote function too.

“When Input goes InActive for longer than X Seconds, Trigger Selected zone(s)”.
A time threshold is set so that if there is a power failure to a refrigerator for under a set
period of time the system will not activate. It will only activate when the time threshold
is reached.

Same as above except that now it triggers a remote rather than a zone function.
