8. Maintenance
Correct maintenance and lubrication prolongs the lifetime of your machine. Therefore comply
with these instructions.
Consult the manual for the engine for maintaining the engine.

If you experience any sign of leakage or moisture from the transmission the oil should

9. Troubleshooting
The engine does not start:
1. Ensure that the sparkplug is not defective.
2. Ensure that the sparkplugcap is fitted
correctly.
The engine runs irregularly
1. Ensure that the choke is deactivated.
2. Ensure that there are no impurities in the
petrol.
The brushes will not rotate
1. Check whether the coupling is adjusted
correctly
A ticking sound is audible from the
gear box when the wheels are
activated.
1. The pin which is described in Section 6
points in the wrong direction. The pin must
always point in the direction of travel.
The machine does not sweep
effectively
1. Check whether the brush distance to the
surface is set correctly.
