TMP451EVM Software Overview
This section discusses how to use the TMP451EVM software.
5.1 Starting the TMP451EVM Software
The TMP451EVM software can be operated through the Start menu in Windows. From the Start menu,
select All Programs, highlight the TMP451 folder, and then select the TMP451EVM program.
Figure 5-1
illustrates how the software should appear if the TMP451EVM is functioning properly.

Figure 5-2 shows an error that pops up if the computer cannot communicate with the EVM. In the event
you receive this error, first ensure that the USB cable is properly connected on both ends. Another
possible source for this error is a problem with the USB human interface device driver of the computer.
Make sure that the device is recognized when the USB cable is plugged in, as indicated by a Windows-
generated confirmation sound.
