TMP451EVM Software Setup
This section discusses how to install the TMP451EVM software.
4.1 Operating Systems for TMP451EVM Software
The TMP451EVM software has been tested on the Microsoft Windows XP
®
operating system (OS) with
United States and European regional settings. The software should also function on other Windows
operating systems.
4.2 TMP451EVM Software Installation
The TMP451EVM software is included on the CD that is shipped with the EVM kit. It is also available
through the TMP451EVM product folder on the TI website. To download the software to your system,
insert the disc into an available CD-ROM drive. Navigate to the drive contents and open the TMP451EVM
software folder. Locate the compressed file (TMP451EVM.zip) and open it. Using WinZIP
®
or a similar file
compression program; extract the TMP451EVM files into a specific TMP451EVM folder (for example,
C:\TMP451\TMP451EVM) on your hard drive.
Once the files are extracted, navigate to the TMP451EVM folder you created on your hard drive. Locate
the setup.exe file and execute it to start the installation. The TMP451 software installer should begin the
installation process as shown in
Figure 4-1 .
