The board consists basically of eight sub-circuits:
•
An input filter to reduce the noise of the buck converter on the input cabling as well as active reverse-
polarity protection
•
A synchronous buck converter providing the power for the output
•
A VID interface to adjust the output voltage of the buck converter
•
A trigger circuit providing an external trigger signal when a pulse is generated, as well as a trigger
input to start a pulse from an external signal source
•
A user interface with push-buttons and LEDs
