BoosterPack Demo Firmware Programming
Taking as example the Demo Firmware configuration, the following procedure is used to program the
DRV2625 BoosterPack with the CapTIvate Programming Tool.
1. Connect the CapTIvate MCU Programmer to the BOOSTXL-DRV2625 board.
Pins 9, 10, 18 and 19 from the J301 component of the CapTIvate MCU Programmer are required to
configure the BoosterPack. These pins must be connected to the 4 pins of the J6 component of the
BoosterPack. Use
as a reference:

For more details about the BOOSTXL-DRV2625 pins, see
of this user’s guide.
For details about the CapTIvate MCU Programmer, see
Hardware Section of the CapTIvate-PGMR
2. Connect the CapTIvate MCU Programmer to the PC.
Use a micro-USB cable to connect the programmer to the PC. The required drivers must be installed
once the device is powered up.
3. Download the Demo Firmware and Open it with Code Composer Studio (CCS).
