3 ADS1x15EVM Overview
Various onboard components are used to interface the analog input, digital interface, and provide power to the
ADS1x15 device. The

3.1 ADS1x15EVM-to-PAMBoard Interface
The ADS1x15EVM supports the digital I
2
C and functional modes as detailed in the
(or the
). The PAMBoard operates at a 3.3-V logic level and the digital I/O lines of the ADC are
level shifted to match the operating voltage of the ADS1x15.
Digital interface connections to the PAMBoard include power, I
2
C, and a GPIO connection used for triggering an
alert at the end of conversion if enabled. The digital connections are highlighted in the silkscreen, as shown in
