Please follow the safety instructions provided in this manual and ensure that you fully understand
all safety instructions. Please keep this manual for future reference or in preparation for resale.
Never move the appliance by pulling at the power socket cable.
Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply before transporting.
Always switch off the appliance before disconnecting from the power socket or extension.
All spectators should be kept at a safe distance to the machine, when it is in use.
The operator of the machine is responsible for people’s safety.
Never direct discharge at bystanders or allow anyone in front of unit.
People under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication are not allowed to use the
machine.
Only use the machine for its designed purposes.
Always use the machine with the chute attached.
Keep hands and feet away from all rotating and moving parts such as auger etc.
Always use a rod such as a shovel or similar to clear a blocked auger. Never put your hand
inside the discharger or auger in order to remove blocked snow, debris or for other reasons.
A blocked auger
can and will “fire back" when cleared and may cause personal injury.
The operator must wear boots with non-slip soles to ensure that you have a good a
foothold.
Always wear safety glasses and avoid loose-fitting clothes.
Only work in daylight or sufficiently good artificial light.
In order to start the appliance, the auger must be completely free to move.
Always hold the handle bar firmly and walk, never run.
Do not overload the appliance work load by attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate.
Slow down and turn corners slowly.
Caution! The auger does not stop immediately after switching off.
Always switch off the machine, disconnect the plug and wait until the auger stops before
carrying out maintenance or cleaning work.
