8. Adjusting angle of cutting bar

The angle of the cutter bar can be adjusted upwards in
1 postion, to 0
o
(straight) and downwards in 4 positions
to 90
o
. Totally 6 positions.
To adjust the angle press the lock button for rotary head
(2) with your right hand, and with your left hand hold the
motorhousing and bend it upwards/downwards to the
desired position.
When you hear a “click” the cutter bar has reached the
correct position.
9. Tips and advices

Swing the cutter bar in an arc towards the outside of the
hedge so that the cuttings are swept to the ground.

Cutting without standing directly next to the hedge, e.g.
flowerbed between operator and hedge. Swing the
cutter bar up and down in an arc as you move along the
hedge - use both sides of the cutting blades.

Extra long reach without the need for other aids. Swing
the cutter bar up and down in an arc as you move along
the hedge - use both sides of the cutting blades.

Cutting close to the ground from a standing position,
e.g. low shrubs. Swing the cutter bar back and forth in
an arc as you move along - use both sides of the cutting
blades.
The hedge trimmer is not suitable for cutting
grass!

Hold the pole hedge trimmer vertically and swing the
cutter bar in an arc to make maximum use of its reach
in height.
10. Maintenance
Before any service and maintenance is done,
the power must be disconnected, it means the
battery removed from the tool.
•
Remove the battery before you clean and store the
machine.
•
For obtaining the best cutting results the knives
must be cleaned and oiled regularly. Remove dirt
with a soft brush and oil lightly.
•
Use biodegradable oil.
•
Clean the housing and other parts with a mild
cleanser and a moist cloth. Never use aggressive
cleansers or solvents.
•
Prevent water from getting into the machine.
11. Storage
Store the hedge trimmer dry and unavailable for
children. Keep the blade lubricated. Use the transport
protection when the machine is stored.
