Mains and battery operation
When you disconnect the receiver from the mains, any
settings that may have been made (time, alarm time,
stations) will be lost. If you wish to keep the settings,
insert batteries first (see below) and then disconnect
from the mains.
Inserting batteries
Instead of running it from the mains, you can operate
your receiver from batteries. You will need four
1.5 V mignon batteries, size AA, LR6.

Open the battery compartment on the rear of the
receiver by pushing the cover downwards.

Insert four batteries, paying attention to the polarity
(negative end to the spring), in the compartment.

Replace the battery compartment cover.
When the batteries are too low, this is indicted by a
blinking symbol
in the display.
Dealing with batteries
When operating the receiver from the mains, take
out the batteries.
Change all the batteries at once; do not mix old and
new batteries.
