Disposal of the unit
Old appliances may not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Should the appliance no longer be capable of
being used, then every consumer is required
by law to dispose of old appliances separately
from their household waste e. g. at a local authority
collection point. This ensures that old appliances are
recycled in a professional manner and that negative
consequences for the environment are prevented.
For this reason, electrical devices are marked with the
symbol shown.

.
Subwoofer buzzes.
The subwoofer is connected to a power cir-
cuit which differs from the rest of the unit.
Connect the subwoofer and
AV receiver
to the
same electric circuit.
The buzzing is caused by problems with
the power supply.
Buy a line filter and connect both units to it.
The buzzing is caused by a multi-way
socket.
Use another multi-way socket or plug the
subwoofer directly into the wall socket. In the
case of two-pin plugs it may help to insert the
plug into the socket the other way up.
Playback is noisy.
The
Theater 80
system produces very little
noise. The deficient quality of a signal
source (e. g. from MP3 files) is often “ex-
posed” by the high frequency range of the
high definition box system.
Ensure that a faultless signal is sent from the
source.
The sound seems dull.
The satellite has been connected with the
wrong polarity.
Check that the speaker cords of all satellites
are properly connected.
