Radio playback
Select one of the three radio broadcast bands (see page
12):
FM AUTO
– Reception of stereo stations from 87.5 to 108
MHz, RDS mode possible.
FM MONO
– Reception of weak stations in mono, RDS
mode possible with limitations.
AM
– Reception of mono stations from 522 to 1,629 kHz.
Setting the radio stations
Direct entry of the tuning frequency:

: Pressing the button will start the station
scan in the desired direction, which will continue until a
station with suffi cient broadcasting power is received.
Manually

: The frequency is gradually increased and/
or decreased every time you tip the button (FM: 0.05
MHz step, AM: 9 kHz step).
The set tuning frequency is shown in the display

. If the
station is received in stereo, the message “STEREO” will
also appear. If the station broadcasts an RDS signal, then
the message “R•D•S” will appear and the name of the
station will replace the frequency display after a short
time.
Station memory
Your radio can save up to 30 stations for each of the two
radio bands (FM and AM). You can select the saved sta-
tions conveniently with the push of a button.
Presetting stations
Tune in the desired station as described above.

Saving stations automatically
Push the button

“Tune” for approx. six seconds until
the message “APS Start” appears in the display panel.
The radio is now searching for stations with adequate
reception and automatically saves them. Previously saved
stations are deleted in the process.
After the search ends, the station is saved to the memory
slot 01.
Tuning in stations from the memory
You can directly choose stored stations by using the
number pad
