Button “ Audio”
With the button

“Audio”, you can set the ambient
sound or the surround mode and the audio delay.
Setting ambient sound
Pushing the button

“Audio” briefl y switches to the
respectively possible modes:
If only two speakers (front left and right) are active, you
switch the Dolby® Virtual Speaker (DVS) each time you
push the button:
“
DVS REF
” Normal DVS ambient sound.
“
DVS WIDE
” Extended DVS ambient sound.
“
DVS OFF
” Deactivate
DVS.
If all speakers are active, two ProLogic and two stereo
settings are available for all dual-channel sources:
“
PLII Movie
” Dolby® ProLogic II for movies.
“
PLII MUSIC
” Dolby® ProLogic II for music.
“
STEREO 5
” Stereo playback on all speakers.
“
STEREO 2
” Stereo playback only on the front speakers
left and right and the subwoofer.
The surround mode is preset when Dolby Digital or DTS
coded multi-channel tracks are played back; as a result,
this function is blocked.
Setting audio delay
By pushing the button

“Audio” for more than two sec-
onds, you can set the value of the audio delay (see menu
function “Lip Sync” on page 13):
The current value in milliseconds (ms) is shown in the

display panel and on the screen.
With the volume buttons

“/–”, you can
now set the audio delay within the range from 0 to
240 ms.
The device deactivates the function after three seconds of
button inactivity.
Button “ Level”
You can set the sound with the button

“Level” and
adjust the volume of the speakers.
Adjusting the sound
By briefl y pushing the button

“Level”, you access the
three ranges for the sound control in sequence:
Bass
low tones (bass tones)
Treble
high
tones
Middle
medium-range tones (language)
With the volume buttons

“/–” you can now
set the selected range from “–10” (decrease) to “+10”
(increase). After three seconds of button inactivity, the
device switches off the function.
Volume adjustment.
You can increase or decrease the relative volume for
each speaker. First push and hold the button

“Level”
for more than two seconds until the fi rst speaker channel
is displayed in the display panel and on the top left of the
screen (see below). Tip the button

“Level” to select the
desired speaker now:
FRONT L
– Front left
CENTER
– Center
FRONT R
– Front right
REAR L
– Rear left
REAR R
– Rear right
SUB
– Subwoofer
With the volume buttons

“/–” you can now
set the volume within the range from “–10” to “+10”. After
three seconds of button inactivity, the device deactivates
the function.
Button “ Resolution”
By tipping the button

“Resolution” you can set the
resolution of the television set for HD playback. Possible
values:
HDMI 576P, HDMI 720P, HDMI 1080I, HDMI 1080P.
