Important note on dismantling and disposal:
X The system must be dismantled in the proper way by a suitably qualified
person.
X Shut down the wind turbine system ( Æ section 8).
X Have the electrical systems and equipment removed from service by a
qualified electrician.
X
Make sure all rotors are braked.
X Carefully tilt the tower.
X On the ground: Detach the rotor blades from the generator.
X
Detach the generator from the tower and disconnect the electrical wiring.
Where necessary, dispose of the individual components in consultation with the
responsible local authorities.
