3.8 Settings for the Vicat device

Parameters of the Vicat device:



coose cleaner device (for needle or for cone)



cleaner device position ( set Y-coordinate and Z-coordinate (penetration deepnes of the needle))



samples center (set Y-coordinate)



samples zero level (determines the zero level (surface) of the glas plate)



Penetratin time (setting the penetration time for the needle or cone)



factory settings (restoring of the default value)

Press one of the buttons to get to the page where you can performe the desired aktion.

3.8.1 Choosing cleaner device

Depending on the material to be tested (cement or gypsum) the right cleaner device is needed.



For cement sample choose cleaner device for needle



For gypsum sample choose cleaner device for cone (yet not avaable)

Press the radio button of the desired cleaner device to activate it.
The activated cleaner device is colored yellow and the radio button gets a black marking circle.
