NOTE having no earth would appear on the display as × Earth Cont ×FAIL flash 

once you have found a good earthing point, re-test by pressing Class I button 

   

NOTE If the measured value is of a low load it will be displayed as“

”This could mean that the appliance has 

a low load or that the fuse has blown, however the most come fault is that the appliance under test has not 

been switched on. Correct the fault and re-test 

 

PASS or FAIL will be displayed as the final result
