During slow cooking, meat and vegetables retain more juice than traditional cooking.
Some foods such as carrots, potatoes and beets require longer cooking than meat, so cut them into small pieces before adding them to the
meat. Make sure you put them on the underside of the inner pot and pour them with liquid.
Get the fullest flavor of slow cooking by adding unspoilt herbs and spices.
The beans must be completely smeared before combining them with sweet or sour foods.
When cooking in a slow cooker, remember that liquids are not produced in the same way as is common in conventional cooking. Reduce the
amount of fluid in the recipe that is not intended for a slow cooker. The exceptions to this rule are soups and rice.
Remember that liquids can be added at any time later.
If too much fluid does appear on cooking, re-program the slow cooker for another 45 minutes. Check the result every 15 minutes.

Cleaning instructions
After each use:
Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, then from a slow cooker and let it cool down completely.
Wash the glass lid and the inner pot in warm, soapy water. These parts can also be washed in the dishwasher.
If the food sticks to the inner pot, let it dry in warm water.
You can use water with vinegar or edible soda to remove mineral stains in the inner pot.
Clean the inside and outside of the slow cooker base unit with a soft, slightly moistened cloth or sponge.
Never use abrasive cleaners for cleaning.
Care and maintenance
If you do not use the slow cooker, store it in a dry place. Place the inner receptacle in the base and cover slow cooker with the lid, which you
can wrap in a soft cloth.
Avoid sudden, extreme temperature changes. For example, do not place a hot glass lid or inner pot in cold water or on a damp surface.
Do not use an inner pot to store food in the refrigerator and then to warm up in the slow cooker. Sudden temperature change may cause the
container to crack.
Do not use an inner container or a glass lid if it is cracked or severely scratched.

Asian ribs
(6 - 8 servings)
500 g ribbons
1/2 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons of molasses
3 tablespoons of grape jam or another type of jam
1/4 cup of rice vinegar
1 orange, juice, peeled
5 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger (or more, according to taste)
1 tablespoon chilli paste
4 carrots, medium, peeled and split longitudinally
1 small cabbage
2 tablespoons of corn starch
1 teaspoon of warm water
2 tablespoons of sesame oil

Mix soy sauce, molasses, jelly, vinegar, orange juice and bark, garlic, ginger and chili paste in the inner pot. Put the cabbage on top.
