LIFT DOWN FLOW CONTROL VALVE ADJUSTMENT

The flow control valve is used to restrict the amount of hydraulic oil being used to open the upper
counter balance valves. To have the upper cylinders work with the lower cylinders so that they can come
down together. The lowering speed may be adjusted to increase or decrease the hi-lift’s lowering speed.

1.

Raise the scissor to the maximum height.

2.

Activate lift down function and record the time it takes the lift to lower fully.

Lift Lower

90 sec +/-10

3.

Loosen locknut and turn adjusting screw clockwise to slow lift speed, counter-clockwise to 
increase lift speed.

4.

Tighten locknut when adjustment is complete.
