•Handle and dispose of the electrical waste following
applicable environmental regulations.
Precautions during work
Please note these safety precautions when working with or
coming into contact with the product:
Caution: Read this manual carefully before installing and using
the product. Improper use of this product may result in personal
injury and property damage and may void the warranty.
MANUAL UNIT: UVFLOW
This unit is set to work in "on" mode while there are people
inside the room where it is placed, as the UVC lamps are
enclosed inside the unit.
Under no circumstances operate the UVC lamps without the
casing or cover of the unit.
It is necessary to warn about this situation.
Precautions to be taken before
working
Please note these safety precautions before working with the
product or when interacting with the product:
•Check that the equipment has a charge in its battery and/or is
properly connected to the electrical power source.
Irresponsible exposure to c-type UVC lamps, which are part of
Terragene
®
products, may have some effects such as:
•Indiscriminate exposure to the rays can increase the risk of
skin conditions in the same way that sunlight can.
•If you use ultraviolet light on the skin in a systematic way for
extended periods, it can increase the risk of skin cancer.
•Can cause premature skin aging and signs of sunlight damage
such as freckles, skin thickening, actinic keratosis or solar
elastosis.
•May cause corneal inflammation or burning with prolonged
exposure.
•May contribute to cataracts and tissue growth on the surface
of the eye.
Under no circumstances should ultraviolet light be handled while
it is on, unless certified UVC protection equipments are available.
It is mandatory to follow the instructions in the user's manual
to ensure complete user safety.
Recycling Guidelines
Always follow local rules and regulations regarding recycling.
Electrical Connections
Electrical connections must be made by licensed electricians
following all local, state, national and international regulations.
