Digital relay outputs
There are two digital relay outputs. They could be used to control module power relays. This way user could
remotely restart station modules.
Recommended mating terminal block connector:
Tyco Electronics
p/n 284507-4 or p/n 284509-4
Pin-out:
Pin 1 – Output #1 contact 1
Pin 2 – Output #1 contact 2
Pin 3 – Output #2 contact 1
Pin 4 – Output #2 contact 2
Relay output contacts electrical rating: 30VDC, 2A.
When power is off and while system is booting, both relay output contacts are NORMALLY CLOSED. This way
using relay outputs to control system module power relays, system modules remain operational when PCS200 is
restarting.
When PCS200 has booted, outputs can be controlled by web interface (“I/O Control” link). Pressing “ON”
makes contacts closed, “OFF” - contacts open.

Temperature sensor
This interface allows to connect external temperature sensor (1-Wire compatible).
Pin-out:
Pin 1 - +5V power (supplied by PCS200)
Pin 2 - not used
Pin 3 - 1-Wire data bus
Pin 4 - 0V (logic ground)
Temperature sensors can be supplied as an option, please contact manufacturer for further information.
5.14
Ethernet port
This Ethernet port is used to connected PCS200 to the network. PCS200 supports 10/100Mbps Ethernet.
If PCS200 is placed behind a firewall or a router, make sure certain ports are open/forwarded (see “Connecting
to the network” section 6 for more details).
5.15
Secondary Ethernet port (optional)
This feature is enabled with PCS200 firmware versions 1.20 and above.
Secondary 10/100Mbps Ethernet port can be used to connect an IP streaming device like IP camera or video
server. Additional video/audio stream (TCP or UDP) ports needs to be open/forwarded if PCS200 is located
behind firewall/router. See “Video monitor” section 8.3 for more details.
5.16
Console port RS232 (debug)
This RS232 serial port (115200bps, 8-N-1) outputs some debug boot messages, and can be ignored by the user.
