ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION:
NOTE:
All threaded ends of bolts protruding beyond nuts must be cut off
and/or peened to eliminate sharp edges. No more than two threads
should extend beyond face of nut. All washers, “T” nuts, and other
fastener hardware used on round pipe or tubing must be hammered down to
conform to the curved underlying surface to eliminate catch points.
DO NOT tighten nuts more than hand-tight until entire assembly is
completed.
STEP #1:
Attach each end panel to the tunnel using the corner brackets. The
bracket attaches to the panels using:
1 - 5/16” x ¾” Button Head Bolts
1 - 5/16” x 1” Button Head Nuts
1 – 3/8” Flat Washer
1 – 5/16” Flat Washer
STEP #2:
Tighten all hardware as you go.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
STEP #3:
Dig 4 holes 8” in diameter 12” deep. They are located 22” apart for
each panel and 100” apart between the two panels.
Generally, it is easier to position Fun Crawl in proper location, mark
holes, then move to one side and then dig holes.
STEP #4:
Place the assembly over the top of the holes, then install the support
pipes using:
1 – 3/8” x 1 ¼” Button Head Bolt
1 – 3/8” Lock Nut
1 – 3/8” Washer
Tighten all hardware
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!!
STEP #5:
Support the assembly to the desired level above the ground and concrete
all 4 holes.
