W hen NewGen 5 does not function properly, ch e ck
the following first before requesting repair services.

Check batteries.
(If batteries are done, replace it with a new one.)
Check battery polarities.
(Insert the batter into the correct direction.)
Check if the flash memory has not been broken.
(Format the memory (slow format)
Check if NewGen 5 is not in Hold state.
(Release the Hold switch.)
Check if the memory space is full.
(Delete unnecessary files.)
Check if NewGen 5 is not in Hold state.
(Release the Hold switch.)
Check if recording has been made.
Check the battery.
(If the battery is done, replace it with a new one.)
Check if the volume is not 0.
(Increase the volume.)
Check if the USB port is connected.
(Check the USB port connection status.)
Check if language setting has been correctly made in
Language menu. Stored data is not executed or deleted.
Format the memory (slow format).
Check if the data is not larger than the memory
capacity.
