Instructions for Use
Use with an EMS unit conforming to EN60601-2-10 such as
perfect BEAUTY
or
Sports TENS
.
1) Before use make sure your skin is clean and dry.
Do not place electrode pads
on skin, which does not have normal sensation or on broken
skin.
2) Push the pin ends of the lead wires firmly into the pigtail ends of the electrode pads.
Note:
A single face electrode pad acts as a pair of TENS electrodes. Connect both pigtail
leads to the same TENS lead.
3) Peel the electrode pads from their protective plastic shield by holding and lifting one corner of the pad
and pulling.
Do
not
pull on the pigtail wire of the pad.
Always check
that the unit is
OFF
before applying or removing electrode pads
4) Apply the adhesive side of the electrode pads as shown in the picture.
Attach with the lead with red connector closest to the ear.
Choose a muscle toning programme using
between 40 and 60 Hz, and between 250 and 350 μs
.
WARNING: Pads are one fifth of the size of standard TENS pads. Use a much lower
intensity than you would with standard pads, and adjust carefully. Excessive current
density can cause skin damage. We recommend that only stimulators with 1mA adjustment
steps be used.
5) Remove the electrode pads from your skin by holding the pad itself and gently pulling.
6) After use always replace the electrode pads on the plastic liner and replace them in the re-sealable
plastic bag.
Important:
Observe all the Contraindications, Cautions and Warnings included with the device that you
are using with these electrodes.
