8. Reinstall the two hex screws holding the

shift cable mount clamp to the machine

frame. Tighten to 7.6 -- 9.9 Nm (6 -- 8 ft lb).

9. Reinstall the main drive belt on the transaxle

sheave.

10. Reinstall the rear belt cover on the machine.

11. Reinstall the rear drive wheels and hub

caps. Tighten the flat head screw to

7.6 -- 9.9 Nm (6 -- 8 ft lb).

NOTE: Place machine in Neutral and rotate axle

until cross pin is horizontal. Put machine in Park.

Install hub/wheel assembly.

12. Remove the blocks and lower the machine.

Check for proper operation of the shifter and

transaxle. Also check the main brush pattern

and adjust if tapered. See TO CHECK AND

ADJUST MAIN BRUSH PATTERN

instructions in the SWEEPING section.
