When assigning transfer codes for remote programming or for ports,

all codes must be

unique and must have the same number of digits.

Select a port on one of the daisy-chained LSS units.

Choose the routing codes (

16) that you want associated with that port.

Assign a unique transfer code to that port.

Fill in the table on the next page by assigning the transfer codes to units and ports.

Daisy-chain Remote Programming

If you are going to use remote programming in a daisy-chain, follow the steps below to
configure the LSS units.

Using

07#n#x#, the Transfer Code for Remote Programming command, assign a

different remote programming transfer code to each LSS in the daisy-chain.

For your reference, enter the unit number of the LSS in the last column of Table 6.
When assigning transfer codes for remote programming,

all codes must be unique

and must have the same number of digits.
