to save the number and exit, or

to enter the number immediately into
memory and continue programming (you may, for
example, press
{NAME}
afterwards, to program a name
for the speed dial bin.
5. Hang up.
You may enter pauses where needed in a speed dial sequence
by pressing the pause icon
j
. Also, you may press
{TONE
DIAL}
to add a signaling tone, or if programming a number
to be dialed on Centrex lines, you can press
{FLASH SIG}
to enter a signaling digit.
NOTE If you hear an error tone, you are probably out of
speed dial memories. Ask your System
Administrator to increase the amount of
memories allocated to you.
PHONE BOOK
The Phone Book enables you the associate names to speed
dial numbers, and use the names for searching through the
stored numbers.
You can use the Phone Book feature to dial a number from
your private Phone Book list (which you program), or from
one of the ten Phone Book lists your System Administrator
may have programmed.
The Phone Book entries are stored in speed dial bins in
alphabetical order. Phone Book entries stand for speed dial
