Output to a volume pedal or an effects unit or chain. This signal is affected by
the input gain control, and is prior to the equalization.
PEDAL TO / FROM (jacks, rear) –
The Pre Out and Pre In jacks
allow an effects unit to be inserted before the tone control and
effects section. If a ¼ inch plug is inserted into the Pre Out or Pre
In jack, the normal link between the jacks is broken.
With the Input Gain control optimized, and with a typical output
from a steel guitar applied, with no volume pedal reduction applied,
the output from the Pre Out jack averages around -6dB
This level should be suitable for most pedal based effects and
professional 19” rack equipment that operates around 0db.
