LED Indicators
LED test functions are provided for all LED types on the system panel. When power is
applied to the chassis, the power A and B LEDs, the fan LED, the temperature LEDs, the
stat LED, the critical, major, and minor status LEDs are illuminated red. The power LEDs
are illuminated green for the duration that the ACO button is depressed.
Environmental LEDs
The 8820 MSR environmental LEDs indicate status of the fans, system temperature, and
operational status
(Table 3-1)

Alarm LEDs
The 8820 MSR alarm LEDs indicate severity of problems detected by the system. Severity is
immediately apparent as a result of interpreting the LED colors shown in the CRT, MAJ,
and/or MIN LEDs
