7. Using the phone book
Telephone numbers and related names can be stored on the SIM card, using the phone
book feature.
The number of memory positions available on the SIM card varies, depending on the type
of SIM card provided by the network operator or service provider.

Entering names
All the letters of the alphabet can be entered. For example use key 3 to enter the letters
D, E, F as follows:

Press once to enter a “D”
•
Press twice to enter an “E”
•
Press three times to enter an “F”
•
Press four times to enter a “2”
NOTE: To enter a small case letter, hold any numeric key down. All subsequent letters
will be in lower case until a key is held down again. The upper/lower case status is indi-
cated by an icon in the centre of the display.
The other letters are selected in the same way.
