the one on the previous page, except an EGM microphone and an SPK-2000
speaker are used instead of a headset. Make sure the internal DIP switches are
set for monaural speaker operation (default setting) as described on page
. A
PS-L local power supply is required for the SPK-2000, but is optional for the
US2000A. When a PS-L is connected to the US2000A, the US2000A automatically
disconnects from system power. This makes more system power available for belt
packs and other intercom stations. Also, when the US2000A is powered by a PS-L,
it can be operated over a greater distance as a remote station.
