Command line arguments for the executable.

The arguments to dformat.exe specify:

-w:0xd2000 : address of DOC

-s:! : format with empty space

-l:0x600000 : size in bytes of boot partition

-n:BIPO: signature of boot partition (always use

BIPO)

Updates the Windows CE image on the DOC.

This approach differs from first example in that the

image is written to the DOC as soon as the packets

arrive. No temporary RAM file is used to hold the new

image.

String displayed on TeleCLIENT when the update is

running.

Location of ceimage.rom.

This file must be located in the directory specified by the

source path (Server_name).

NOTE:

Use the

bintodoc /r 100

command to process

the nk.bin.

The content of any software update package file can be validated prior to deployment by using the

SoftwareUpdate.dtd file, an XML Notepad, and IE 5.0 from Microsoft,

XML Notepad with IE 5.0 (or the Microsoft XML Parser Redistributable which can be found at

http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/tools/xmlparser/xmlparser.asp

the XML file is well formed.
