Driver ID Installation

The Driver ID System allows the vehicle operator to log-in and log-out of the vehicle’s tracking system
•
Driver ID System works with Qube300
•
Requirements:
–
The Driver ID Reader receiver must be installed in a location that is easily accessible to the driver
of the vehicle and where the driver can see the LED light located on the top of the receiver,
–
The receiver is designed to be mounted through a ¾-inch hole drilled in the dashboard,
–
The chosen mounting location should allow the installer to access the interior of the dashboard
so the plastic nut can be tightened on back of the receiver to secure it in place,
–
Mount the Driver ID Module inside the dashboard at
a low point with the beeper side pointed down to
allow for audible notifications to be heard,
–
Connect the Driver ID Module data harness to the
Qube via the RJ45 port,
–
To test: turn the ignition to the “ON” position, within
two minutes; the LED on the Driver ID Reader will
flash “RED” and a beeping sound will be heard from
the in-dash module; touch the Fob to the Reader;
the LED turns “GREEN” and the beeping stops.
