1. Go into the main menu, and select the Mes-
sages menu
2. Select New SMS . Press OK to confirm.
3. Enter your text using the keypad.
4. Press Options , and select Send to .
5. You can choose Enter number or Add exis-
ting contact to add the number of one of your contacts.
6. Use the or keys to choose between
Enter number
and
Add existing contact
, then press
OK
.
Enter the number, then press OK to confirm.
7. Press Options to select Send .
Enter text with the keypad
The letters of the alphabet are found on the number keys 2-9.
When you are in text entry mode—to enter a name or write a
message or note—the phone automatically switches to letter
mode.
Letters on the number keys are inserted according to the
number of times the relevant key is pressed; this is multi-press
mode.
WRITING AND SENDING A TEXT
MESSAGE
NOTE : Sending an MMS is like sending an SMS. The
difference is that multimedia content is involved. Use an
MMS to send attachments, such as images and audio
or video files.
