6. SOS MODE FUNCTION
The SOS function is designed to contact your relatives or other persons in case of
an emergency. The SOS function is deactivated by default. When these functions are
activated, you can make an emergency call and send a customized SOS message.
6.1 Activating the SOS function
1. Go to
Menu > SOS settings
,
and select
SOS button status
.
2. Press the left
or key to select
On
.
3. Press the right
key to
Save
your settings.
6.2 Adding emergency contacts
You can add up to five emergency contacts (your relatives, friends, special services, etc.).
The phone number list from 1 to 5 indicates the calling priority. Remember to inform these
contacts that they are on your emergency list.
1. Go to
Menu > SOS settings > Number
.
2. Select
Number 1
as top calling priority, then select
Edit
by pressing the left
or key.
3. Select
Enter recipient
to directly enter a phone number, or select
Contacts
to add a
contact from the phonebook. Then press the left
or key to confirm.
Remove an entry using the right
key.
Exit the entry using the
key.
4. Repeat the procedure above to set more emergency numbers.
6.3 Making an SOS call
Press and hold the SOS button on the back of your phone for 3-5 seconds.
The phone will emit an audible alarm (if activated), and send a customized SOS message
(if activated).
Then the phone will call the numbers on the list one after the other, five times. If the call is
not answered and confirmed within 20 seconds, the phone will call the next number.
Note:
Once an emergency contact answers an SOS call, they must confirm
the call by pressing their 0 key within 20 seconds. Otherwise, the phone will
hang up and dial the next emergency contact.
We recommend you notify all your emergency contacts that they are on your
emergency list and that they should press their 0 key if they receive an SOS
call.
6.4 Activating the SMS function
1. Go to
Menu > SOS settings
,
and select
SOS SMS
.
2. Press the left
or key to select
On
.
3. Press the right
key to
Save
your settings.
6.5 Editing the SMS message
The SOS message is sent to emergency contacts when you launch the SOS call. By
default, the message asks the emergency contact to press the "0" key for call acceptance.
1. Go to
Menu > SOS settings > SOS Message
.
2. Enter the message using the keypad, then press the left
or key to confirm.
6.6 Setting the SOS alarm sound
1. Go to
Menu > SOS settings
,
and select
SOS alarm
.
2. Press the left
or key to select
On
or
Off
.
3. Press the right
key to
Save
your settings.
