Short message
configuration
Once the service is activated, you will be able to
receive and send messages. However, it is important
that you read the following information concerning the
configuration of the private mail service.
Extension
You can have several telephone services with Short
Messages Service connected to the same telephone
line. You will need to assign each telephone a different
extension number from 1 to 9. This procedure should
be done before connecting the new telephone to the
short Message Service. Domo Mensajes is supplied
with an extension number equal to 1 by default.
Changing the extension number is only advised when
you already have another telephone connected to the
same line with access to Short Message Service.
If your Telephone Short Message Services is already
activated and you just want to change the extension,
de-activate the service from that telephone, before
making with the change.
To change the extension number, follow these
instructions:
With the receiver down, press the
MENSAJES/ACEPTAR (3) key.
Then press the
(17) keys until the option
CONFIGURAR is displayed on the screen.

Press the Mensajes/Aceptar (3) key. You will enter
the CONFIGURACION menu. Press the

key until you see EXTENSION.

Your telephone extension will be displayed in
brackets. If you need to change this, press the
MENSAJES/ACEPTAR (3) key.
The message PULSE NUMERO will appear, asking
you for the new number of the extension. Press the
number you wish to use on the keypad. Remember
you can only choose from 1 to 9.
