3. Operation

3.1. Operating Procedure
Check the following before use:
• The monitor is clean and in good condition.
• The hydrophobic filter and inlet filter for the monitor and probe are clean and in good
condition.
• The sample line and any other accessories used are in good condition and leak-free.
• Switch monitor ON in fresh air and check that the battery is fully charged.
• Verify there are no faults.
• Attach probe, as required.
• All ranges are operational and the monitor is zeroed.
• The monitor is within the calibration period.
• Switch the monitor OFF, in fresh air, after use.
Additional:
• Perform a daily leak check when prompted by placing your thumb over the end of the
sample probe and ensuring the monitor displays FLOW FAULT TEST SUCCESFUL.
• Perform regular bump tests using either the Auto Bump/Calibration Station or by
performing manual bump tests.
NOTE: Throughout this document, the buttons will be referred to as L Button and R
Button.
