4.5 Power Supply
The 4700 power supply is the same for 120V and 230V samplers.
A plug adaptor is provided 230V samplers.
4.5.1 Recent Changes to the
Power Supply
The old 4700 power supply has been replaced by a new, more
powerful power supply. The pump assembly has been redesigned
to take advantage of this feature.
The chart below lists the part numbers of the old and new pumps
and power supplies, and the sampler serial numbers corre-
sponding to the changes.
CAUTION
Although the old pump will work with the new power supply, the
n ew p u m p w i l l N OT wo r k w i t h t h e o l d p owe r s u p p l y,
69-4704-010. Do not install the new pump without ensuring
that the sampler also has the new power supply.
The old and new power supplies and pumps can be distinguished
from each other by their appearance. See Figure 4-4 for a com-
parison of the old and new power supplies. For additional infor-
