4.9 Transfer curve
The curve below gives the transmitter output current as a function of gas concentration. In the
event that the user connects the transmitter to a non- TELEDYNE OLDHAM SIMTRONICS central
controller, the user must ensure that the transfer curve is compatible with the equipment's input
characteristics to correctly interpret the data coming in from the transmitter. Similarly, the central
controller must provide sufficient voltage to compensate for any voltage drop caused by the
cable.
